Project Goal

Coffee Tree is aiming to be a modern coffee brand that conjures the deliciousness of its products straight into your taste receptors via flawless design and breathtaking imagery. The store offers a wide variety in terms of flavor, strength and acidity of the tastiest, most aromatic coffee from some of the world's leading coffee producers - Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam & Ethiopia.

To satisfy the client's demands in the most extensive manner possible, I have implemented the store using Shopify for the following reasons.

  • Quick and easy maintenance of the store (even without technical knowledge).
  • Fast development process.
  • The platform is dynamic and flexible.
  • Customizability via Shopify Liquid: the client requested custom functionality (a testimonial slider, a metafields table with dynamic strength and acidity rankings) that I had to implement writing custom code.

Testimonial Slider (Shopify 2.0 Sections Everywhere):

I have implemented an amazing custom testimonial slider using Shopify 2.0 with sections everywhere, which means this slider can be added anywhere on any page.

Dynamic metafields table:

I have implemented this coffee info table writing custom code and using Shopify's new integrated metafields to make the table and the Strength & Acidity ratings customizable for each product.

Imagery & Design:

We have enriched the site with beautiful imagery and video that will make mouths watery and souls craving for coffee.

The website is fully responsive and looks great on screens of any size.
